Ce cacao nous mènera loin et fera en sorte que le cacao de Colombie guérisse le monde, paroles de Doña Aurora, fondatrice de l'ASOANEI.

Years ago, our collaboration with ASOANEI began, an organization led by Doña Aurora and her sons, Sebastián and Jorge. This partnership took shape through our agency, Belco in Armenia Café, when we decided to start working with ANEI. As part of this collaboration, Belco sent field engineer Lea Pillet to launch the "Hands on CACAO" program in 2020, aimed at improving fermentation techniques. Now, four years later, we proudly see the fruits of that effort.

ANEI has since developed an active partnership with various NGOs, and today, we celebrate the arrival of the first batch of organic-certified cacao from the Serranía del Perijá. While ASOANEI’s main headquarters are located in Valledupar, the heart of vallenato music, their network of members spans across both the Serranía del Perijá and the Sierra Nevada. This association, comprised of Arhuaco farmers, is deeply connected to nature and the principles of agroforestry, while also maintaining a strong commitment to the holistic quality of their cacao.

We take great pride in presenting the results of this long-standing collaboration, showcasing the dedication and craftsmanship of Colombia’s rural communities, who offer their cacao with immense pride.
