He has been growing speciality coffee for over 25 years.

Sourced by our agency

In the Ataco area, coffee is grown by many families, including the Lima family, who own the El Oasis, Santa Elena and Buenos Aires farms. Our Ataco coffee is a blend of coffees grown by the Lima family on their farms.

This blend of washed caracoli, from the different varieties grown on the farm (Bourbon, Caturra, Marsellesa and Catimor), offers a beautiful cup with notes of honey, almond and chocolate.

The terroir Ataco

The terroir of Ataco is located in the famous volcanic mountain range Apaneca - Ilamatepec. Concepcion de Ataco is also a small town, known to the locals as the place of high springs. This region was the first to produce coffee in El Salvador. It now lists many large properties belonging to families of producers for several generations. It offers the cup such complexity and aromatic diversity that it is impossible to draw up a typical profile.
