About

Ephrem's Farm, established in 2001, is a farm located on the border of two Kebele - Gundra and Shela. The farm has rich, fertile soil. It includes warehouses, workers' dormitories, drying stations and an office. The processing station is conveniently located just 1 km from the farm.

The farm is divided into two plots: Abiy 1 (159 hectares) and Abiy 2 (162 hectares). Varieties 74110 and 74112 are the ones found on this farm. The coffee cherries are harvested on the farm by skilled workers, and the coffee dries in the shade for several days. The farm is home to a variety of well-known tree species, including Shego (Trichilia dregeana), Getem (Schefflera abyssinica), Birbira (Millettia ferruginea), Qararo (Pouteria altissima), Bisana (Croton macrostachyus), Shola (Ficus sur (F. capensis)), and Chago/Abeyi (Maesa lanceolata).
