Nilda Viza was born in Caranavi in 1972. She comes from a family of coffee growers and has always accompanied her family on the plantations. Today, she manages the family farm and provides extra help to her brothers, sisters and parents on their plots, especially at harvest time. Her husband is rarely present on the farm. As a truck driver, he spends his time on the road. When he returns to the farm, it is always with arms full of provisions and supplies for the farm and the family. The couple have three children, two of whom are now adults. Nilda hopes that they will soon join the family farm to continue the family legacy.
