Hernesto Mamani was born in the province of Camacho but there were not really any opportunities there. It was in 1992 when he was 12 years old that he joined the Kollasuyo region with his father. In 2002 he bought his first plot. He then married Maria Machaca and they now have 3 children. With this small family, Hernesto wanted to increase their income through the production of specialty and organic certified coffee.
