Habtamu Abebe has owned Matapa Michiti Farm since 2011. Before managing Matapa Michiti, Habtamu worked for a long time in the coffee and spice trade, producing coffee and spices on neighbouring farms.
Habtamu's work doesn't stop at his own farm. Thanks to the washing and drying station set up on his farm, he works with more than 500 producers, to whom he provides all his support: distribution of seeds (between 30 and 45,000 each year), access to credit and advice from agronomic experts.
