Zinabu means rain, is a sign of hope and prosperity on these Ethiopian highlands where the arrival of the rainy season conditions all the crops of the year and the lives of the men of the earth who cultivate them.
A positive name therefore for this man of about fifty who is just as much. Zinabu is a child of Kaffa, he grew up here, near Bonga and has always seen his family harvesting coffee. He first took another path, becoming a physics professor and holding positions throughout Ethiopia that led him to discover the wealth of his country. He lived a long time in Mekele in the North, but the fertile lands and the dense forests of his native region made him want to come back here as a farmer.
He invested in the Tula farm almost 20 years ago with the aim of preserving the biodiversity of these lands to produce quality coffee. Always showing new ideas Zinabu would like to make this region more famous, especially for coffee lovers. He is currently building a lodge near his farm to receive visitors curious to dive into this beautiful coffee forest.
