Do you know the simplest recipe to use the Kalita Wave? With its flat base and 3 holes for an even extraction, the Kalita Wave is very easy to use - and this recipe won't make you say otherwise!

Water : 300ml

Preparation

Heat the water and grind the coffee. Next, place your filter on the Kalita and rinse it with hot water to remove the taste of the paper, then empty the water. Pour the coffee into the Kalita and tare the scale.

Pre-infusion

Pour in 60g of water, taking care to wet all the grounds. Don't forget to start the stopwatch!

2d pour

Starting at 45 seconds, pour in up to 150g of water in a circular motion without touching the filter, until you reach ¾ of the filter holder.

3d pour

From 1 minute 30, continue to pour the water into the centre without any circular movement until you reach 300 g.

Enjoy!

At 3 minutes, once the infusion is complete, remove the filter and stir the coffee in the carafe to homogenize it. The result is a smooth, balanced and aromatic cup.
