Before being bought by Habtamu, the station belonged to a union of cooperatives.
Today, 110 local producers come to the station to process their cherries. The Suke station is located at a high altitude (2000 - 2100 meters above sea level) and processes plain and washed coffee.
In this station there are about 230 drying beds. 60 people are assigned to each drying bed to blend the cherries and maintain a consistent quality. The station's warehouse is well ventilated and the coffees are stored on pallets in order to guarantee good traceability of their coffee.
